IP Printing through Windows XP

IP Printing setup for Windows XP

Introduction

This document explains how to connect to the IP printers in the Open Access Labs from the dorms or from off campus through the use of VPN. This method of printing is a replacement for XPRINT for the Math Labs. Currently, IP printing is supported in Blocker, SCC, WCL, and the Library Annex. Presently, only black-and-white, letter-size printing is available. The focus of this information is for Windows XP users.

Note:The Calclabs currently have a custom, internal method of printing to these printers.
